The Cisco ACE Implementation Services offering (APS-ACE-IMP) by Vinci Consulting Advanced Professional Services enables customers to rapidly deploy application optimization solutions using the Cisco Application Control Engine (ACE) Service Module.
This service offering includes the analysis and design of an ACE-based solution for a single load-balanced application utilizing up to 8 backend servers, implementation and testing of the designed solution.
What's included in our standard ACE Implementation service?
Our Service includes site preparation checklists, application analysis and design documentation, creation, development, and loading of software configuration, on-site installation and testing of ACE module(s) in a pre-existing Catalyst 6500 chassis. ACE functionality supported by this service offering includes Layer 4 load balancing, SSL Termination, Server health monitoring and session persistence.
Application Analysis and Design
- Review your application requirements to determine your load-balancing requirements.
- Review your existing network diagram and design to determine network constraints.
- Review your Catalyst 6500 IOS versions to ensure compatibility with the ACE module.
- Design any necessary network topology changes.
- Design ACE solution.
- Design implementation Test Plan.
On-Site Product Installation, Configuration and Testing
- Unpack and inventory the ACE module(s) and install in your 6500 chassis.
- Implement Catalyst 6500 IOS configuration changes necessary to access the ACE module.
- Establish Management access to the ACE module(s) based on your requirements and industry best practices.
- Configure the ACE module configuration per the agreed upon design.
- Test the load-balanced application according to the estalished Test Plan.
- Provide documentation of proposed ACE solution.
